O, be still my heart!
That’s what you’re thinking, right?
Can it be true? Does Diane have a clothesline? Of her very own? To hang her very own laundry on?
Why, yes! Yes, I do have a clothesline.
Of my very own.
And yes, that is my laundry.
Why, Diane must be pretty happy about that, I guess.
Am I happy?
Happy, you say?
Beside myself with joy is more like it!
Oh yeah.

Yay!! As long as I’ve known you this has been a dream. Now it is reality!
How wonderful!! Enjoy!!
You are so right Becks, I’ve wanted a clothesline ever since I moved into this house 10 years ago. Sometimes I think half my posts have some reference to my clothesline lust… goodness, what on earth am I going to post about now that I finally have one;-)
Yay! good for you! I really want one, but I am so happy for you : )
Praying for all your clothesline dreams to come true, Becky dear♥
Nothing in the world smells as nice as clothes off the line! I do use my electric dryer in the winter, but I hang my sheets out all year. I’ve even put my sheets in the freezer if it’s raining too hard to hang them out.
Lady Anne… you’re a girl after my own heart, you are!
Be still my heart! I love those little things (that are really big things) that bring joy…like a good friend blogging.
… and like a good friend leaving a comment;-)
Love it, Diane!!! I am just now getting into “summer-mode” and hanging out my laundry… but I am loving every minute of it. The grass between my bare toes, my little nieces holding clothespins for me, the boys tromping up with frogs to show me (since they aren’t allowed to bring them in the house anymore. *ahem*) and bright sunshine turning my white skin…um… a tad less white?
Enjoy every minute of your new clothesline!
A girl after me own heart, that’s what you are, m’dear♥
Oh, I have been wanting one for so long! So happy for you with yours!
Our grandmothers would die of laughter… or perplexity… if they saw how much we long for clotheslines, eh? They didn’t know how good they had it!
I am SO happy for you! Dreams do come true!
~♥~
Wow, such a beautiful clothesline! Congratulations!!!
Thanks Elena… It’s a thing of beauty to me too. In fact, I have to resist the temptation of snapping pics every day when I finish hanging the clothes out, lol.
Yay! Nothin’ quite like sun-dried clothes and sheets, especially sheets!
(So glad you’re posting again)
Ahh yes, the sheets! The stuff memories are made of♥
Yay Diane! I’m so happy for you
I too wish to have a nice clothes line…someday I will…someday!
Praying all of your clothesline dreams come true Sommer☺
I can smell that freshly dried clothing now. In Florida, we can hang out our sheets, etc. on a line and it dries in just minutes most times. I do enjoy the smell for sure.
Up north it takes a good bit longer than that, even in the summer heat. I’m wondering how the clothesline will work out once the weather starts to change come fall. I hope it will still be workable!
Oh, I’m so happy for you!
A washline of my very own has been a dream of mine for years and years – - what is it about laundry lines? I have such fond memories of hanging out the wash when I lived back home, it was so delightful!
God bless you and your washline, dear Lady!
Much love,
Ann
And may the Lord bless you Ann dear, and your sweet little home♥
Lol Happy for you. We missed each other the other week.
Shall have to try again soon. I miss you!
Yes, we must try and connect!! It seems we’ll have to put a concerted effort into that now that you are busy with school and I am trying to stay off the computer more. So worth it tho… I miss ya friend♥
